Internship is a process in which a person undergoes crucial and specialized training to enhance, hone, and improve his or her skills on a certain field.
It allows the person to discover his potentials through designed activities to work on.
Through the process of internship, a person can practice the skills he acquired from school and the abilities he have been cultivating for a long time.
Internship would also allow a person to understand and experience the twist and turns of the real world. It prepares him to become a competitive and efficient worker for his future endeavors.

The short video above will be helping you to fully understand journalism internship.
Why INTERNSHIP?
But with this internship, everyday is worthwhile. Every second counts. A second full of learning and appreciation of the value of work.
Internship would open doors for me to enjoy work and pressure at the same time balancing it with academic studies. Internship is needed the next step towards the concreteness of dreams. |
This experience is the best way to improve the person's skills and be able to learn and be prepared in facing the real MEDIA world in the future. As for me, internship is an avenue to learn not about the history of print media or the theories governing about the things around us but internship would help me learn about the fundamentals of REAL writing. It will enable me to experience REAL interviews, REAL hardships, REAL writing, and REAL deadlines. Internship would also allow me to meet respected people and icons. Internship would serve as my instrument in serving the people with passion, with truthfulness and with humility. Engaging myself in print media made me realize that things are not as easy as they may seem. Information reporting needs time and sufficient effort to deliver the news on time and complete. Doing my internship on print made me into a person of tact, critical mind and judgement. Without internship, probably I would be just sitting on the corner of our classroom reading those theories, or scribbling unimportant things just to end my day. |
